Leila is a little girl. She lives in an ordinary house, on an ordinary street, in an ordinary town.
But when an unexpected visitor arrives one night, her life becomes a little less ordinary.
Leila and the Little Folk is an adventure game, in which you play the part of Leila.
You move Leila around her world by tapping where you want her to go, and you can interact with the people and objects she encounters simply by pressing on them.
As she moves through the game, Leila will encounter problems and puzzles that it is up to you to solve.
Leila is not alone in her world - there are many other characters which she will encounter. There's Mum, Dad and the fearsome librarian Miss Fenchurch, as well as the others that we couldn't possibly tell you about without spoiling the whole plot.
Leila will need to speak with all the people she meets to help her on her quest.
Here are some shots of the game in action, running on a tablet. The phone version looks much the same, but things are 'zoomed in' a little more to make sure you can see everything.
Here's a short video of the game in action:
You can get the game on the Google Play Store here, and on the Apple App Store here.
There's also a demo version, which lets you play the first few sections of the game to let you decide if it's for you. You can find the demo on the Google Play Store here, and on iTunes here.
Both are also available on the Amazon App Store - here's the demo, and the full game.
Leila is designed to work on mobile devices. It is available for iPhone, iPad, Android phones and Android tablets. We're also tweaking a version for the Mac which should be available some time soon.
We've built our game engine to work with Android 2.3 and later, and with iOS 7.0 and later.
If you want to have a look at what's gone into the making of Leila, then you can find some information in our Making Of... section.
If you can't get past a particular point in the game, then you could take a look at the hints page.
Remember, though - it'll be much more satisfying if you can work it out for yourself!
